Ways to Avast Internet Security not Opening
Option 1: Repair Avast
If there’s something wrong with your entire Avast installation because it doesn’t open in any way, it’s best to fix it by going to the Control Panel and hiring a repair magician.
This option worked for many people, but bear in mind that you may want to re-adjust specific settings that you may have changed in your antivirus.
For starters, make sure you are logged in with an administrator account, as you won’t be able to delete applications that use other stores.
Click on the Start menu and then launch the Control Panel by searching for it. Alternatively, you can click the gear icon to open Preferences if you are using Windows 10.
If you are using the Preferences program, clicking Applications should immediately open a list of applications installed on your computer.

An alternative method is to launch the Control Panel by finding it in the Start menu. You can even search for it using the Search button in the Start menu.
When the Control Panel window opens, change the “View From” option in the upper-right area of the window to “Large Icons” and scroll down until you find the Administration Tools.
